Follow our adventuers to Alaska by Motor Coach as we complete a bucket list entry

Many of us have bucket lists. Ours includes a trip to Alaska. We are traveling by Motor Coach from our southern mountain home across our great United States to Seward's Folly, or the great frontier of Alaska. Sit back, relax, and enjoy our ride as we try to share our adventure with you.

Colorado

Kansas left behind wheat fields for as far as the eye could see.  Colorado began cow country, grasslands, snow fences, wind mills and slightly rolling hills.  Interstate interchanges were for the use of the huge farms.  Very little towns.  THEN we hit Denver!  What a huge and sprawling city.  You can see the Rockies in the background of the picture.  We finally stopped in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  The buffalos do roam here.  Hoping to make it to Sheridan tomorrow evening.   We are now 2 hours behind ya'll on Mountain Time.

  1. Cow country! Sounds like a place for me! Big difference in the two pictures; I like the one on the left much better! I guess I've outgrown big cities. Don't get carried away by the buffalo...are they roaming like they did in Yellowstone? Miss you guys - xoxoxoxo
